<image:title>Services & Pricing - “I first started working with Alex when I lived in New York. My dog Lucy was really struggling with anxiety and was fearful of pretty much everything. Alex worked with Lucy and me, giving us all the tools to help ease Lucy’s anxiety. When I moved to Colorado, we kept up with sessions through zoom to help Lucy with the transition and she is doing so well. A few months later, I adopted a second dog, Lennon. She had extremely bad separation anxiety. I couldn’t leave my apartment for more than five minutes. I asked Alex for help and I can’t express how much she helped me. With Alex’s patience, help, and guidance, Lennon has zero anxiety when I leave her. Alex takes the time to understand your dog’s needs, check-in on their progress, and really cares about you and your pet. TREAT with Compassion is a 10/10.” — Sam B., Denver, CO</image:title>

<image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>I believe that strengthening the relationship you have with your pet is the key to successful training. With over 8 years of experience working with dogs of all ages and temperaments, I believe the best approach to dog training is rooted in building strong, trusting relationships between dogs and their owners through gentle, effective training techniques. When we learn to listen and understand what our dogs are communicate with us, training becomes easier. Since I can remember, animals have played a vital role in my life. As a child, I would spend a lot of time with my family’s rescue dog, Ginger. Ginger and I created an inseparable, special bond. My curiosity and connection to dogs grew into my adult years and eventually, into a career that I am most passionate about. My training career began at the SPCA of Westchester where I cared for and trained shelter dogs, preparing them for their forever homes. While here, I assisted the Director of Behavior and Enrichment with new arrival evaluations and behavior modification protocols. I then began an internship and earned my first certification as a Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College. After 2 years and many hours of shadowing, training, and private coaching, I earned my professional certification as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Certified Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Additionally, I am certified as a Fear-Free Professional, and keep up with the latest science based techniques to reduce fear, stress and anxiety in companion animals. Currently, I am a member of the Association for Professional Dog Trainers where I earn continuing education credits, and keep up with topics from professionals all over the world. I am committed to enhancing the bond between people and their pets through positive reinforcement training, kindness, and compassion.</image:caption>
